5 Ways to Make Your Tiny Bathroom Feel Bigger

Does your tiny bathroom have you feeling cramped and stressed as you start each day? Small spaces make it difficult to get ready and to store your belongings. While a luxurious, sprawling bathroom might be your dream, it may not be your reality. A small bathroom can still feel big if you get creative with design and storage solutions. Make the best of your tiny bathroom with these tips from Indy Renovation.

1. Try White on White

White makes any room feel bigger and brighter. Painting the walls and ceiling the same color will make the ceiling seem higher. White also looks clean, classic, and never goes out of style.

2. Use a Large Mirror

The use of mirrors is the oldest trick in the book when you want to make a room seem bigger. Mirrors reflect light and add depth while being a functional and necessary part of the bathroom.

3. Ditch the Shower Curtain

Shower curtains are bulky and heavy and can make your space look cramped. Opt for glass shower doors to create a clean and crisp look. Frosted or tinted glass can provide some privacy while still letting plenty of light through.

4. Make the Most of the Walls

Walls can be used for clever shelving throughout the bathroom. You can even build recessed cabinets flush with the walls to save space. Take the time to get creative with your shelving because a well-organized bathroom feels bigger and reduces stress.

5. Eliminate Clutter

Nothing crowds a space quicker than clutter. Keep counters clear, and store toiletries out of sight. If you have limited storage space in the bathroom, store extra items in a hall or bedroom closet.
